THIEVES CAPITULATE.
£75,000 OF BONDS RESTORED. HARRIED BY DETECTIVES. A. and N.Z. LONDON, Jan. 5. International thieves in October stole £75,000 worth of Rumanian bearer bonds from an English postal mailbag. English insurance companies faced the loss, of £40,000 sterling, but private detectives working abroad harried the thieves for three months, tracing bonds from place to place 'until the thieves, in terror of discovery, returned the bonds to the London . assessors by ordinary post, together with 61 other dividend warrants of . which the assessors had no knowledge.
