COAL HULK SINKING.
BEACHED BY FERRY BOAT. . VESSEL BEING PUMPED OUT. A LARGE CARGO OF COAL. The Union Company's hulk Kothsaj Bav. containing 2000 to 3000 tons of coal, began to sink at her moorings ofi the Western Wharf yesterday afternoonThe matter was reported to the Union Steam Ship Company,, and a ferry steamer was sent to the hulk's; assistance. .It was low water at the time, ..so the fern- steamer towed the hulk until, it stranded on the mud off the north wall. Later the Harbour Board's firenoat was. despatched to pump the water out of the Rothsay Bay to enable her to be berthed at the" Western Wharf as soon as the tide is suitable, and so as a quantity oi coal could be discharged from the hulk.
