VICTORIA DISMISSED FOR 125. MACARTNEY 5 WICKETS FOR 8 Australian and N.Z. Caljle Association. (Reed. 9.30 p.m.) MELBOURNE, Dee. 26. The cricket match between Victoria and New South Wales was continued to-day. Though the wicket was protected with tarpaulin, rain yesterday penetrated the covering and made the ground soft in parts. A heavy shower soon after the start decayed play. On resuming. Victoria's wickets fell cheaply. Macartney taking five for eight runs. Mailey took two for 53, and Gray three for 33. Victoria's first innings closed for 12'5, in reply to New South Wales' score of 160. Fremantlo made 13 runs.
