NEW MERCHANT FLEET.

German shipbuilders are continuing to make great headway The first of four 22,000-ton liners has been launched for the Hamburg-Amerika Line. Two will be employed to deal with the expected German emigration rush to South America.
Herr Hugo Stinnes is strengthening the East Asiatic service by three 9000-tonners, and numerous smaller companies are building and purchasing steamers and opening up new routes.
