UNSETTLED WEATHER.
ANOTHER SHOWER YESTERDAY
The weather at Auckland is very unsettled. The fine day on Tuesday was followed at a late hour by a heavy thunderstorm, and yesterday forenoon heavy rain fell for about an hour. The afternoon and evening was fine, but at times the sky was dull and threatening. The wind was from the westward, and it blew freshly during the day, but moderated in the evening. The barometer continues very low Its lowest reading Was 29.35 in. at 5 p.m. on Monday. By noon on Tuesday it had risen to 29.50 in.., where it remaine'd steady until 8 a.m. yesterday. By noon it had risen to 29.60 in., where it remained up to a late hour. Its normal reading at Auckland is about 30.05 in. "
