OBITUARY.
DR. J. J. PRINGLE. [BI TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] CHRISTCHUECH. Wednesday. Dr. J. J. Pringle, formerly assistant physician at the Middlesex Hospital, London, died at Christchurch whilo on a holiday tonr of the world. He had been in Christchurch. for only thre« weeks.
Much of Dr. Pringle's work was di* rected to the investigation of skin diseases, and on this subject he became a widely-known authority. He brought out an atlas on skin diseases, and published some valuable works. A few years ago he" retired from the Middlesex Hospital, as he had reached the age limit.
