MEETING OF SEAMEN.

WATERSIDERS' ATTITUDE.

SOME RESENTMENT SHOWN.

A meeting of members of the Seamen's Union was held yesterday morning at the Trades Hall, when Mr. Glover, president of the New Zealand Waterside Workers' Federation, addressed the men at length. It is understood that he urged them to remain loyal to their union, and not to return to work unless advised to by their executive. ,

Some of the men, it is stated, expressed resentment at the attitude of the waterside workers for not joining the seamen in the trouble. Mr. Glover informed the seamen that the waterside workers were holding a- ballot in connection with their own award, and until the result was known nothing could be done in tho matter.
