LOAN PROPOSAL CARRIED. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.} THAMES. Tuesday. The proposal to raise a loan of £19,500 to lay down a tarred macadam road between Turua and Netherton, on the Hauraki Plains, was carried yesterday by 40 votes to seven.
