HER CROWNING GLORY.
A WOMAN'S HA EEL
ASSURED BY - THE EAGLETON METHOD."
This is the age of youth. From Neolithic times age has always given way to the younger and more virile generation in tho race of life. But virility cannot be measured in terms of years, and often does, not appear until youth has gone. On the other hand, many people do not realise their grooves—their scheme of life—until well on in years, while others, again, show only too soon the effects of tho struggle for existence.
In business, as in tho social world, appearance means much and where can that complete rejuvenescence be obtained better than at Eagleton's Toilet Rooms in Victoria Street West, a few yards from the intersection of Queen and Victoria Streets
Mr. Eagleton has been established for no less than 40 years, and has built up a business for hair and skin treatment that has no peer in the Dominion. Tho crowded cubicles bear witness to the volume of business, and a walk around the rooms, of which there aro 12, will convince the visitor of the popularity of the Eagleton method.
Mr. Eagleton is nothing if not progressive, and has lately installed at great expense a complete hot and cold water system, and his arrangement for obtaining hot-air draughts is a distinct advance on older methods.
Mr. Eagleton has very rigid ideas on the subject of hygiene. Even- toilet cubicle is fitted up with sterilising apparatus for cleansing and making completely germ-proof all instruments, brushes, etc.. while he has also installed a largo cabinet for sterilising towels, thereby doubly protecting his clients from buy risk.
One of the latest appliances for treatment of the hair is the hairometor, an apparatus designed principally with tit© o'ojoct of removing uric acid from the scalp, and particularly does it successfully combat all microbical diseases of the scalp, such as that deadly enemy of the hair, "Alopecia." The hairometer is now in use in some of the largest and most up-to-date,establishments throughout the Tnited Kingdom, and has gained great kudos for its v.-ork, and is giving much satisfaction.
Modern methods of hair tinting and hair staining are an onen book to Mr. Enrleton, and in his establishment nothing but dyes and tints from vegetable sources are used, hence- no injury is suffered by the hair. The auburn tints which have been so sought after from 8.C., and which for so long baffled science. are a very simple operation to him, and he produces them with ease.
Although Mr. Eaeleton is pre-eminently a hair specialist, tha\V is not the beginning nor the end of his business, "lie employs a large trained and expert staff of masseurs and manicurists whose work is a bv-word throughout the city. Another branch of Mr. Eacrleton'is business which mceives his pergonal attention is the Human Hair Department, where he makes wigs, toupees, transformations, etc., in every possible combination for the street or stage use. Mr. Eapleton having catered for all $ O. "Williamson's companies for the past 27 years, his exoenence in this line is nnioue, and lad'es will find his stock renlete -with everything necessary. All hair-.work is done on the premises, and besides the above specialties there is a denaHment devoted to hair bracelets and watch-chains. whi"h caters for a steady demand in tbese articles.
.Added to weH-anpointed rooms and an effie'ent staff. Mr. Eaeieton has a pleasin? r.er.ennalitv"an ( T'a painstaking method of attending To customers' wants, which ensures their complete satisfaction.
