BILLIARD TABLE FACTORY.
FIRE AT CHRISTGHURCH. EXTENSIVE' DAMAGE DONE. [El TKLOGBJiPH. —rRESS ASSOCIATION.] CHRISTCHTJECH. Monday. A fire to-night completely gutted the Mlliard 'table factory of Messrs. Lutjohann and Co., in Victoria Street. Extensive damage waa done to the printing works of Messrs* Alex. Wildey, Ltd., and the windows in the Salvation Army Citadel were damaged.
The flames had a good hold when discovered, and the brigade had over an hour's task in gaining control. In Wildey'B premises, the upper portion was charred and a large onantity of printing and stationery was destroyed, wnile on the lower floor great havoc waa wrought bv water. W3dey's insurances total iG76?50. but no details are available in connection with Lntjohann's.
