EXPLOSIONS IN COAL.

DETONATORS THE CAUSE. A. and N.Z- PARIS. Dec. 15. Recent explosions among domestic coal have apparently been explained by the discovery of fifteen detonators in a cargo of British anthracite coal in a-barge on the way to Paris from Rouen. - The theory is that when the detonators fail to oxplode the miners, instead of returning them to the store, discard them among hewn coal.
