The Arahura arrived from East Coast port 3 last eveninz and berthed at the King s Wharf. She is timed Jto sail for Tokoinaru Bay, Gisborne, and Napier at 4 P-m. tomorrow.
Tne Richardson steamer Mako arrived on Saturday from East Coast bays, and berthed at the King's Wharf. The Ayrahou is due to-day from the coast, and vrill ai3o berth. *z the King's Wharf.
The Southern steamer Opihi is due at Auckland to-night from Lytteltoc. After discharging and loading at this poTt the Tesse! will sail about Wednesday for Whansarei to load cement for Lyttelton.
The Kaituna, which had been loading cement at Portland, returned to Auckland on Saturday morning to complete loading for Wellington, Lyttelton. Dunedin, ana Bluff. Owing to the amount of cargo oSering, her departure has been postponed until 6 p.m. to-day.
The East Coast Shipping Company's auxiliary schooner ECouto arrived from the Ba? of Plenty on Saturday morning and berthed at the King' 3 Wharf. The vessel is to sail at noon to-morrow for Mercury Bay, Tauranga and and on her return to Auckland at the end of the week she will lay up over the holidays and will resume running on January 3.
EXCHANGE ON NIAGARA'S CARGO. The Customs Department advises that duty will be payable on the invoices of cargo, ex the Royal Hail steamer Niagara £t the fallowing rates of exchange:—Canada. 4.50 dollar?; United States of America, i.48 dollars; Honolulu, 4.52 dollars.
THE OMANA. The Australian steamer Omana was expected to leave Wellington on Saturday for Napier, Tauranga and Auckland, to complete discharge of hex timber cargo from Newcastle.
GENERAL CARGO FROM AUSTRALIA.
The Union Company advises that the Karon is to load at Adelaide about January 10 for Now Zealand ports. The Kaiapoi leave? Melbourne about the first week in January for Auckland, via Hobart and Lytteiton.

The Federal steamer Middlesex left Napier at an early hour yesterday for Auckland, to complete loading far England. She is due hvr© to-day. and will berth at the Queen's Wharf.
