ATTACK ON HARDEN.

STUDENTS GO TO GAOL.

ANTI-JUDAISM CONDEMNED. A. and N-Z.—Router. BERLIN. Dec. 15.

Weichardt and Grenz, two students charged with attempting to murder Herr Maximilian Harden, ex-editor of Die Zunkunft, were found guilty of causing actual bodily harm and were sentenced to two years and nine months, and four years and nine months' imprisonment respectively. The trial revealed that the two accused were members of societies closely connected with the " Consul " organisation founded by Captain Ehrhardt. Harden, leaning on a stick, gave evidence that he became a Christian 40 years ago, but the fact of his Jewish descent appeared indelible. He condemned antiJudaism and declared that Professor Einstein went to Japan because he did not consider himself safe in Germany.
