CHRISTMAS APPEALS.
Sir,—Will you continue your former kindness to us this year, and allow our annual appeal for Christmas help space in your paper. Many qf your readers are glad to be reminded that we have great pleasure in handing on their goodwill gifts to those people who have bo very little, and no Christmas extras without their kindness. Sir,—On behalf of the British and Foreign Sailors' Society, permit me to appoal to friends for a little special help in the shape of gifts of fruit, cakes, etc., to enable the missioner and workers to provide the customary Christmas cheer and entertainment for sailors in port during the holidays. Captain Bazeley is in attendance any forenoon or evenmg at the Mission Hall, next the Sailors' Home, Albert Street, where contributions will be thankfully received, or he will be pleased to call at any address on receipt of a request to do so.
