TRAMCAR AND ROLLER.

COLLISION IN SYMONDS ST.

A collision between a tramcar and a steam roller occurred in Symonds Street about three o'clock yesterday afternoon. An outward bound Onehunga car was turning into Khyber Pass Eoad when the rear of the car hit a steam roller which was standing close to the track. No one was hurt, but the back platform of thecar was considerably damaged, the motorman's screen being practically torn away. Thei-e was no delay to the tram traffic.
