MINER LOSES A HAND.

EXPLOSiON OF PRIMER. JBX TELEGBAPII. —OWK CORRESPONDENT. J WAIHI, Wednesday. A painful accident, resulting in the loss of a hand, oocurred in the Waihi mine this morning, a miner named Charles Bennio being the sufferer.

Tlio unfortunate man, it appears, was engaged in a stopo on the Royal lode at No. 11 level, when a primer which he was carrying in his hand exploded. The hand was 'blown off at the wrist.
