ACCIDENTALLY SHOT.

DOG WATCHES BODY. Mark Wakeling, a returned soldier, aged 26 years, was accidentally shot dead while crossing a log fence at his farm at Nubeena, near Hobart. He was carry: ing a loaded gun when a log evidently rolled, and in endeavouring to save himself he rftust have touched the trigger. Wakeling was alone, and was found by his sister, Ethel Wakeling, and Frank Wiggins, with' the top of his head blown away. His dog was by his side.
