AUSTRALIAN NATIVE SHRUB. VALUABLE DISCOVERY. A. and N.Z. PERTH. Oct. SO. Exhaustive experiments have established the value of an indigenous shrub as a tannin producer. Its discovery is regarded as of high importance to the tanning industry. It is also claimed that the shrub give's the only extract which makes furs impervious to moths and silverfish. Supplies of the shrub are inexhaustible. The Government has granted a local company a concession over a large area of shrub country.
