Alter hearing arguments, the Federal Court extended the temporary restraining orders against the Attorney-General's ruling respecting the carriage of liquor in American and foreign ships until the Court hands down a formal permanent opinion shortly. Shortly before the American mail steamer Ventura sailed to-day all intoxicating liquor intended for consumption during the voyage was removed. BRITISH SHIP SEIZED. OUTSIDE THREE-MILE LIMIT. Rcntpy. NEW YORK, Oct. 17. Federal Judge Hazel upheld the seizure of the British schooner Henry Marshall outsido the three-milo limit, and ordered the schooner and her cargo, comprising 12,000 cases of liquor, to be forfeited.
