ALL PATIENTS. RECOVERED.

A statement concerning the influenza outbreak on H.M.S. Chatham was made last evening by the medical of. health for the . Auckland .'district, Dr.' T. J. Hughes, who said there .had Ibeen. no new, cases of influenza reported from the cruiser. All the patieinte who' were isolated ashore at Motuihi last week had recovered, and a thorough disinfection of. the warship had been completed. A period of quarantine, extending from last Thursday until next Saturday, was being carried out by the warship. If no new cases occurred during that time, it might be definitely taken that the outbreak had ceased and the danger passed, as influenza required only from one to three days to develop. ___________
