ACTION AT GREEN LANE.

The city traffic department intends making special traffic arrangements in connection with the trotting meeting at Alexandra Park on Saturday and Wednesday next. The roadways surrounding the park being under the jurisdiction of the* One Tree Hill Road Board, the department last evening sought authority to arrange and control, in conjunction with the Police Department, vehicular; traffic in Green Lane on the days mentioned, in the interests of public safety and convenience. The board granted per- J mission, the opinion being that such an arrangement would be of great benefit to the public.
