FAMOUS DUBLIN SCHOOL.
THE "HIBERNIAN" CLOSED.
Following the decision to withdraw the British troops from Ireland, the Roya! Hibernian Military School, Phoenix Park, Dublin, has been closed and the 410 boys distributed between the Duke of York's Royal Military School, Gusfon, Dover, and Queen Victoria School, Dunblane, Perthshire, bcotland- For over 150 years this school has been in existence, and during that time many thousands of boys have been prepared to take their part in the world, and to assist in safeguarding and increasing the Empire. Numerous old " Hibs" have obtained their commissions from the ranks of the Army, a few of whom have reached the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel. One old worthy " Uib" was at one time Colonial Secretary, and later Deputy-Governor of Sierra Leone, and British Consul for Liberia 3UBBMjBM.
