AUCKLAND NAVY LEAGUE.
SUCCESSFUL "AT HOME."
The Auckland branch of the Navy League held an "At Home" last evening a» the Amateur Operatic Society's rooms, in commemoration of Nelson Day, which falls on Saturday. About 100 members and friends attended, the evenin e being devoted to games and music. The president, Mr. A. M. Ferguson, spoke briefly. The league does not intend appealing to the public this year for t funds to carry on its work, partly because it is riot desired to detract from the campaign for funds to erect the War Memorial Museum.
