The correspondent understands that the Turkish pretension has been refused until the question of the guardian- j ship of the Dardanelles is finally settled, j Colonel Hughes has been informed that 1 on no account will the Imperial Graves Commission be evacuated, or the rcstingplace of the Anzac dead retroceded to the Turks. j
