The Canadian Government steamer Canadian Explorer Railed from Port Kembla on Saturday for Bluff. ..She is to load at New Zealand ports for Tsew York, Boston. Montreal, making Auckland her final loading: port. She is due here about the first week in November. THE LOUIS THERIAULT. SSCTS. A. Rhind and Co. ha,re taken over from the New Zealand Glue Company the three-masted schooner Louis Theriault, on behalf of tho new owner. Captain B, Watchlin. The vessel is of 443 gross tons, 146.5 ft. in length, 32.6 ft. in width, and 12it. in depth. She was built in 1918 by A. A. Theriau 1 t in New South Wales for trw Commonwealth Government of Australia. She is a three-masted schooner. Captain iyatchlin, who wa# formerly in the service of the Union Company, expects to run the schooner on the Kaipara-Australia. trade in place of or in conjunction with his present vessel, the barctuentino I/aura.. Tho Laura is at present in Greymouth. and Captain Watchlin in to arrive at Lyttelton thie week. THE LAS VEGAS. The American steamer Las Vegas, which arrived from San Francisco on Monday, was berthed at the King's Wharf yesterday rooming. She loaded at Portland, Oregon. Seattle, Tacoma. and San Francisco. Her cargo consists ot 3,000,000 ft. of lumber and 60.000 cases of oil fuel. Of the oil 10,500 cases will be discharged at Auckland and the remainder of the vessel's cargo at Lyttelton, Wellington. Adelaide. Melbourne, Sydney and Newcastle. The Lfts Vegas J« owned by the United States Shipping Board, and is under charter to Messrs. Swam and Holt of San Francisco. The wet weather yesterday prevented the vessel "discharging, otherwise she was to have resumed her voyage this evening.

The Northern Company's steamer Rimu has again been delayed at New Plymouth owms to heavy ram interfering with her cai-f;o operations. She is to leave New Plymouth at noon to-day, and is duo at Oneflunua at 7 a.m. to-morrow.
