[BY TELEGRAPH OWN CORRESPONDENT.] TE PUKE. Tueeday. Mr. B. I. Linker had the misfortune yesterday to get the tips of two of his fingers cut off while engaged in chaff cutting.
Tho Farmers' Auctioneering Company had a large yarding of cattle forward at to-day's sale. There- was an improved demand, a large number changing hands.
