AUCKLAND HOSPITAL BOARD.

SHELTERS AT COSTLEY HOME.

The Auckland Hospital Board met last evening, the members present being: Messrs. W. Wallace, chairman, Q< Knight, J. Dempfcey, W. K. Howitt, J. Rowe, J. D. Chalmers, H. Aitkenhead, S. J. Harbutt, and M.' J. Ooyle. A motion of condolence with the relatives of the late Mr.. H. N. Bagnail, who wa6 a member of the , board, was carried, the members standing. The Minister for Public Health, the Hon. 0. J. Parr, wrote giving his consent to the erection of three T.B. shelters at the Costley Home. \ It was reported that the rate of interest on the £25,000 instalment of the loan of £200,000 had been feed by Order-in-Oouncil, at not more than 6 per cent. The chairman stated that the Finance Committee had recommended that the interest be 5£ per cent.
