WARKWORTH TOWN BOARD.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT,] WARKWORTH. Tuesday. At a meeting of the newly-elected Town Board Mr. A. Warin re-elected chairman.", It was decided to proceed with formation and metalling work on the road to the Presbyterian cemetery as soon as the weather permitted. It was decided to make final application for the loan of £500 fdr drainage ejdension, and to authorise the foreman to procure the necessary material as soon as required. The salary of the town clerk was raised to £100 per year. The clerk reported that the sito of the grave of the late Mr. John Anderson Brown, the founder of Warkworth, had been located, and the question of marking it in some suitable way was discussed. The clerk was instructed to obtain an estimate of the cost of a suitable stone with inscription, with a view to raising the money required by public subscription.
