LONDON, Sept 7. At the end of October Mr. H. C. Cameron, having reached the age limit, will retire from the position of 'immigration
officer at the High Commissioner's Office, and it is his intention to return, with Mrs. Cameron, to New Zealand. He joined the office as produce commissioner when the Hon. W. P. Reeves was at the helm, and six yeara ago he was appointed immigration officer ic succession to Captain T. E. Donne, -who took the place of Mr. C. Wray Palliser, as permanent secretary to the office. Mr. * Sandford, who ia on his way from the Industries and Commerce Department in New Zealand to succeed Mr. Cameron, is due shortly to arrive in London.
