NOVEL BILLIARD MATCH

ALL SHOTS TO COUNT TWO.

REECE VERSUS SMITH.

A. and N.Z.

LONDON. Oct. 15.

Torn Reece challenged W. Smith or Melbourne Inman to a match of 16,000 up for £500 a-side, stipulating that every scoring stroke, whether »off the red or white, shall count two. Reece contends that losers off the red ought not to connt more than the more difficult and delicate cannons. The explanation of the stipulation is that Reece is foremost in cannon play, but is inferior to Smith or Inman at red losers.

S:iaith has accepted the challenge.
