ATTITUDE TO DIVORCE.
NEW LAW OPPOSED. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.} DUNEDIN. MondayAt the Baptist TJnion Conference th® Rev. W. S. Rollings was elected president. The conference passed resolutions affirming the moral urgency of a campaign ■;,£ against liquor; also reaffirming the horror of wax and rejoicing, in the development of the growing influence of tho League of Nations. In regard to divorce, it wa-s resolved:, "That the he,ads of the several churches be approached with a view to concerted action to bripg pressure upon Parliament to remove from the Statute Bcok the provisions for facile divorce by wlliicb, the institution of marriage i 3 imperilled." ,•
