AUCKLAND WEEKLY NEWS.

A SUBSCRIBER'S TRIBUTE. '

APPRECIATION IN ENGLAND.

A lady who has been a subscriber to the Auckland Weekly News since 1894 writes at follows :—" I write, to inform you of the latest compliment to the Weekly News, and it is from the other side of the world. My sister-in-law, ia England, received some pictures of tb# wedding of Princess Mary recently, which X thought might interest her, and she writes to me now saying that the Wbeklt News pictures are much better 1 than tha pictures in two papers for which she paid 2s each. She concludes by saying : 1 Yonr pictures are the best!' Ccmld you wish for anything more complimentary than that? Last year I tried to get two of ;£ your Christmas Numbers, but ihey ww* all sold out; so when the pictures of the Royal Wedding appeared in the WeebxT News I sent a nice lot of them to my . relatives in England, with . the above pleasing result. I shall try again this year to get one or two Christmas but they seem to ' go off like penny pies.' We have seen great improvements'in the Weekly News during the past 28 years, and it seems only right to tell yoa how much it is appreciated in England."
