PRESENTATION.
Constable M. JJ. Hill, who has been a member of tho Newmarket police force for 12 years, -an 3 who has been appointed of the Hikurangi station, was yesterday presented with a mantelpiece clock by his colleagues at the New. market station. In making the presentation, the officer-in-chargo, Seageant J. Rock, congratulated Constable Hill on bin promotion, while regretting that tho station wonld lose so efficient an officer.
