OTAMATEA COUNTY COUNCIL.
MOTOR-VEHICLE LICENSES. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWU COBBESPOKEENT.] DAKGAVILLE. Saturday. The Otamatea County Council met at Paparoa on Thursday, Mr. Rodney Coates presiding. A long discussion occurred over tho motor-vehicle by-laws. As finally adopted they provide the following fees :—-Motor-car, lour passengers, £8 per annuim; six passengers, £10; ten passengers, i£l4; over ten passengers or on© ton load, £16; solid tyres, £20: one to one and a-balf tons or total three tons with load, £18; pneumatio tyres, £25: motor-cycles, 10s; five-seater motor-car, private use, £2 per annum; seven-seater, £4. The balance sheet was returned from Audit Deoartmeni without tags. The engineer reported that a grant of £150, £ for £, for the Pabi Wharf, had been received.
