IMMIGRATION LEAGUE.

DELEGATES IN WELLINGTON.

The report of a recent visit to Wellington by the president of the New Zealand Immigration and Land Settlement League, Mr. A. Spencer, and tho secretary, Mr. A. S. Trower, was submitted at a recent meeting of tho committee of the league. The report stated that the two delegates attended a Rotary Club luncheon in Wellington, and addressed the members. Following upon this the secretary, at the invitation of Mr. L. M. Isitt, M.P., addressed a meeting of members of Parliament at the House of Representatives. Considerable Discussion took place, and the objects of tho league were very enthusiastically approved. Arrangements have been made for opening several new branches of the league, and for the calling of public meetings at many places in the city, and country within the next few -weeks.
