OVER 35 HOURS IN AIR. AMERICAN'S ACHIEVEMENT. Australian and N-Z. Cablo Association. (Rocd. 4.6 p.m.) NEW YORK. Oct. 7. At San Diego, California, Lieutenants Kelloy and Macready, of the United States Army, broke the world's record for a sustained flight in an aeropi'ane. remaining in the air 35h. 18m. 30s. They ascended at 5.56 a.m. on Thursday and descended at 5.14 p.m. on Friday. The record for a sustained flight in an aeroplane was previously held by two French airmen, L. Boussoutrot and 7. Bernard, who remained in the air for 24h. 19m. 7s. in June, 1920.
