The marked progress of the West district, which includes St. Heliers gky and Kohimarama, is reflected m decision which has been' arrived at by the Road Board to ask the authority to raise loans totalling £131,000. It is proposed to borrow £30,000 for reformation and improvement of the s^do roads of the district and £11,000 for extensions to the electric-light plant and reticulation.
