The Military Council of the Soviet Republic has decided immediately to mobilise the Black Sea naval forces. The commander has suspended all leave. De - - stroyers and auxiliary vessels are rapidly-' being put in condition at Nikolaievsk, aJicl ; Sebastopol. However, in spite 'of the■jefforts of the Bolsheviks to trim the flee:, they have not improved its strength and • . efficiency. Except the cruiser Maka- ; himoff, which ha s been rechristened • KemaJa Pasha, tie remaining vessels are out of date. 1 />' The submarine flotilla, which now in- \ cludefi submarines recently despatched \ from the Finnish Gulf, is m batter condition. . Other craft making the Black Sea fleet consists of commercial vessels ■ ;• and transports armed with light gunir and machine-guns. '
