MURDERS AND ROBBERIES. EXODUS OF PROTESTANTS. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 12.20 a~in.) LONDON, Oct. 6. I While the Dail is hammering out the constitution, the rebels are intensifying their campaign of killing and robbing. They are not displaying a definite tendency to accept the offered amnesty. Armed robberies are increasing in Dublin city. They are small individually, but accumulatively are seriously dislocating the social and business life of the people.
Sniping recurred in Belfast, where a woman Bhopper was shot dead. Hundreds of Protestants are abandoning their homes in tlie three excluded Ulster counties and are going to America. Some districts are practically denuded of Protestant inhabitants. CAPTURE OF REBEL TROOPS. LARGE BODY IN CONNEMARA. A. and N.Z. LONDON, Oct. 5. Free State troops rounding up the rebel troops in Oonnemara captured a considerable body and seized much ammunition. They also recovered a quantity of stolen property.
