The Hon. George Fowlds has taen ap pointed by the International Rotary Cluli as its special commissioner for New Zealand, where there are now three Rotary Clubs. A district governor will uot b« appointed until there are at least five clubs in the Dominion. The duties of th« office include the promotion of new clubs and of friendly (relations between those already formed. Mr. Fowlds was warmlv applauded at the Auckland Rotary Club yesterday when his appointment was announced.
