A statement by Mr. H. C. Lodge, in the Republican Campaign Book, just pußlished, disclosed the Administration's policy toward Turkey. Mr. Lodge says the Administration provided for American representation on a commission to investigate the hideous conditions created by the Turks in Asia Minor. The commission, which consists of Britain, France, Italy and the United States, is the beginning of serious efforts to end the Turkish outrages.
