The Swiss Consul protests against the suggestion made in the City Council that the electricity meters for which tenders were submitted by a Swiss firm, and rejected by the council > were manufactured in Germany. He says ,all Swiss goodf; arriving in Australia are accompanied by a certificate sighed by a British Consul, certifying the goods purely Swiss, and: that not more than 5 per cent, of enemy raw materials is included m such goods.
