The Commonwealth Government is paying the British Treasury on Monday 9 770.000, the half-yearly instalment payable under the fupding of war debta agreement. The fact that Australia is paying principal and interest l —being the only Govvirnmaut which is doing so—is causing a favourable is financial circles.
