4t» 7 A successful concert, in aid of funds for the improvement of the Domain at Avondala South, was held in the Mission Hall on Saturday. The programme supplied almost entirely by visitors from the city. The vocal solos of Miss Walker and Mr. Sam Harris were much appreciated, both singers responding to hearty recalls. Misses Robertson, Lily Cosgrove, and) Olga Johnstone each contributed elocutionary items, which were enthusiasti&lly encored, and Miss Steinert was heard to i advantage in her violin solos, both of Which received recalls. Mr. Eric Waters was accompanist and piano„soloist, giving artistic renderings in each instance. i
