The American Cotton Exchange, follow. ing its conviction on a charge of "bucketting" orders, whereby members merely gambled in quotations without really buying or gelling cotton, has suspended operations completely, although it is solvent, pending an appeal to the highest Court. This virtually lea"es New York cotton traders without a market.
