SHININESS IN SERGE.

It frequently happens that a navy blue costume is perfectly Rood except for a distressing shininess about the seams and portions of the coat which rub against the backs of the polished wood 'bus seats. To repair the damage, brush the costume until all dust is out of the " pores" of the cloth, and spread at on a kitchen tablo. Brush with a stiff brush dipped in water, in which a small quantity of quillaia bark has been boiled. Don't forget to brush the way of the material.
