The ton© of the Auckland shareinarket was unaltered yesterday. In Government stocks War Loans, 1938 and 1927, had demand at £97 and £95 15s respectively, with $ seller of the former at £98. NewZealand Inscribed Stock, 1927, had inquiry at £95 15s. Soldiers' Loan (inscribed stock) was wanted "at £99 2s 6d, sellers £99 10s. In debenture stocks Auckland Gas, 6i per cents., changed hands at £102. in banks Australasias were wanted at £13 2s, sellers £13 Bs. New Zealand's had sellers at 56s 6d, buyers 55s 9d. Union of Australia finned a shade, with sellers at £13 lis, buyers £13 7s. In insurances Nationals were done at 67s 6d, sellers closing afc 695, buyers at 655. In financial lines River Plates sold at 19s 9d. In miscellaneous lines business was done in New Zealand Refrigerating (paid up) at 24s 3d, and in Wilsons Cements at 20s 3d and 20s. In mining Waihis at 28s 3d were looked for at 27s 9d. Grand Junctions changed hands at 9s Bd, late buyers firming to 9s lid. with sellers asking 10s. Moanataiaris had sale at 3s*6d, sellers closing at 3s 7d, buyers 3s 4d. The following sales took place: — Auckland Gas debentures, 6£ per cent., £102; National Insurance, 67s 6d; Now Zealand and River Plate, 19s 9d; New Zealand Refrigerating (paid up), 24s 3d; Wilsons Cement, 20s 3d, 20s; Waihi Grand Junction, 9s 8d; Moanataiari, 3s 6d.
