Mr. Clinton Brainard, head of the firm of McClure, publishers, after securing tho world rights for the ex-Kaiser's memoirs for £50,000, has arranged with M. Viviani and Mr. Asquith to write reply volumes. It is reported that one of the most sensational chapters in the ex-Kaiser's book will deal with his offer of temporal power to the Pope in tho event of his successful mediation for peace.
