8000 MILES ON THE WAY. MAJOR BLAKE CONFIDENT. A. and N.Z. LONDON, Aug. 14. Major Blake telegraphed from Calcutta : "We have actually flown 101 hours, and have covered 9000 miles since leaving England. Wo crossed India during the monsoons, which has never been accomplished hitherto. I am confident we shall reach Japan this month."
