STORM AT ROTORUA.
ELECTRSCAL DISTURBANCE.
An electrical disturbance broke over the Kotorua district, shortly after one o'clock on Monday afternoon. It was particularly heavy in the vicinity of Okere, and the authorities at the power station deemed it prudent to cut off the electrio current, as a precaution against damage being done to the machinery. The supply was accordingly cut off at 1.30 p.m. It was turned on again in three-quarters of an hour. ______________
